Family History Map

Ever wonder where all those places are that our family used to live or are significant to their history? Well here it is! A visual way to see those places.

How to see the sidebar

If you click the square icon beside the map title “Overgrown Family Tree Map” you’ll be able to see a list of makers on the map. For example there is a section in the list called “Cemeteries” and it lists each of the cemeteries on the map. Or you can click on the broken looking square in the top right of the map to view the map full screen.

See the information attached to the map

Open up the list of map markers like outlined above. Now just click on what you are interested in like “Ten Sleep Cemetery”. The map will zoom in on that location and give you a popup box with more information about it. Voila!

Trouble seeing the map on mobile?

The map is a little big on mobile. I’m aware and trying to fix it. But you may find it better to click on the broken looking square in the top right of the map to view the map full screen.

This is a work in progress!! I’ll be adding more points of interest and if YOU have any points, contact us.
